Capabilities
The technical staff at LTC has pioneered the
development of non-contact, laser-based measurement, inspection and
alignment systems for both government and commercial applications for
over 15 years. We build both standard and custom systems, most of
which use our modular LP-2000™ Control
Unit
and data acquisition and analysis software. LTC also maintains a
fully-equipped laboratory for both testing new applications and
providing scanning services. Many of our applications involve
safety-critical, high-value components where downtime or failure is
extremely expensive, and we take pride in providing a quick response
to our customers' needs.

Standard Applications
LTC utilizes a
cost-effective modular approach to system design that allows us to
address a wide variety of laser-based measurement and inspection
applications. In most cases we can employ the
Laser MicroMap™
system, using our
LP-2000™ Control Unit in conjunction with
LaserViewer™, our flexible data
acquisition and analysis software. The modularity of the Laser
MicroMap™
system provides an incredible amount of flexibility ― whether
conducting simple laboratory tests or extensive field examinations.

We have worked with a wide
variety of commercial and government clients, ranging from the US
Army, Navy and Air Force to major companies in the power-generating,
refining and process industries.
Whenever possible, we use
our standard components in custom systems to keep costs and
development times low. A typical custom system is composed of our
standard LaserViewer™ software, data acquisition system and LP-2000™ Control
Unit, combined with a custom sensor and delivery unit.
LTC specializes in the
design, development and integration of reliable, accurate and rugged
measurement and inspection systems for use in diverse and harsh
environments.
